Funding

The Australian National Health and Medical Research Council awarded the Australian National Endometrial Cancer Study $1.4 million over 3 years (2005-2007). This support covered recruitment of participants and associated data acquisition in QLD, WA, SA, VIC and NSW from mid 2005-mid 2008.

Cancer council Tasmania awarded $40,500 to recruit participants in Tasmania for 2006, and $40, 500 for 2007.

The Cancer Council Queensland awarded $160, 000 for characterization of population-based endometrial cancer families (2008-2009).

Cancer Australia have awarded $600, 000 (2009-2011) for the ANECS Follow-up and Quality of Life Study (Principal Investigator A/Prof Penny Webb).

The Australian National Health and Medical Research Council have awarded $1, 035, 200 (2009-2010) for the identification of genetic risk variants associated with increased risk of endometrial cancer (Principal Investigator Dr Amanda Spurdle).
